We believe in fully integrated medicine, using whatever methods work, Eastern or Western, and treating clients with the least invasive and most effective treatments appropriate for the patient; dealing with underlying problem while addressing the symptoms. Our practice, Space Coast Wellness Center, and our therapist staff, live up to this by providing integrated healthcare including acupuncture, herbs and massage therapy in various modalities.
We’re perfectly happy to tell a patient when something is in our scope, out of our scope, or to work with an M.D. when a concern requires it. But many patients would be surprised just how effective acupuncture is and for just how many things. Many don’t even realize acupuncturists are full primary healthcare practitioners with extensive medical training, internship and clinical practice.
For many families, acupuncture is no longer an “alternative” treatment but is their method of choice primary healthcare. Whatever is most appropriate is what should be done. If you break a leg, you should go have it set at the E.R., but acupuncture can help to keep the swelling down, relieve the pain and speed healing. Everything has its place. An acupuncturist can handle most common and uncommon healthcare issues and many patients would not expect we could. And we do a great job of it. Just ask our patients.

Our office is calm and peaceful without the medical feel many come to expect from a doctors office. You will never see an officious, dour, bureaucratic receptionist either. At the front desk you will find Chris or Janette or a member of our staff, smiling and happy you are there.
You will also find we are not a “cure of the month” club. We practice Traditional Chinese Healthcare and Bodywork based in 5,000 years of theory and practice.
